In order to play DOOM Eternal on the PlayStation 5, you first need to download the game through the PlayStation Store. The download will allow you to enjoy the game right away, and will also let you try out the newest additions that the developers have introduced. This includes some new content, an improved control scheme, weapon upgrades, and balance tweaks. Since there are no longer any maps that require players to trek through the wilderness to reach their objective, you will be free to roam freely around the map and finish off whatever objectives you fancy.
